The little start of a big adventure

Nick the principal character is hunting for caribous in the way home in the woods he was almost killed by a strange bear that was a mix of polar and grizzly bear but he could finally scape and run home.He had a really nice hunter grandfather named Jonah he was very good at hunting caribous .One day he recieves a card from his brother Ryan that he has never see him, the letter says that if he want to join him in a trip to river were he was going to take some photos of caribous.He accepts going after going they have a small fight because Nick wanted to bring his rifle incase a bear try to attack them but Ryan didn't want him to bring the rifle .At the start of a trip the two brothers were rafting and the boat crashes both of them were fine but their supplies were loss and they could have bear trouble.





"The bears?The bears are the main reason i brought my rifle.Believe me , we need a rifle for protection"(pg 53)

I found a really great connection that is when me and my brother have a disagreement.Sometimes we put mad at each other or sometimes we decide what to do and we do it.I also have a reaction that was , why they are fighting , they can bring the two thing that they want and everybody is happy.

"Soon  as that powerful outboard fired up , i threw it into reverse and backed of the shore as fast as i could " (pg 7)

I have a  really nice connection between two characters.The two characters are Nick and Jonas from The Giver .They both are very brave like in this part of the book Nick is running because a bear is going to eat him and in The Giver Jonas runs from the helicopter so they cannot catch him .

Of these interesting pages that i read i have some prediction about what is the theme and what is going to happen next .I think the theme is courage because Nick is a man that hunt and likes to be in the forests and now that the brothers are lost Nick will do a act of courage to save their live.My prediction is that they Nick and Ryan will need to run from a grizzly bear .In conclusion i think that this book is until now a great book.
